Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: July 2026
Tots & Trips is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, the Booking.com affiliate program, and the Viator affiliate program. We earn commissions when you click links and make purchases — at no extra cost to you.
Who we earn from
- Amazon Associates— travel gear and packing recommendations. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
- Viator(a Tripadvisor company) — tours, activities and experiences. We earn a commission on experiences booked through our links, and Viator’s referral cookie lasts 30 days from your click.
- Booking.com— hotels and accommodation.
How this affects what you see
Affiliate relationships never affect our rankings, comparisons, or advice. Some specifics, so you can hold us to them:
- We rank experiences by traveler rating, never by what pays us most. Viator offers a “top sellers” sort order that is influenced by what Viator gets paid; we deliberately do not use it.
- We apply a quality floor — an experience needs a rating of at least 4.5 from at least 50 reviews to be shown at all. When nothing in a destination clears that bar for a given age, we show fewer recommendations rather than filling the space.
- We have not taken these tours.Ratings and review counts come from Viator travelers who booked the experience. Minimum ages and age eligibility come from the operator’s own booking data — meaning the operator sells a ticket for that age, which is not the same as us vouching that the experience suits your child. Always check the current details on Viator before booking.
- We do not accept payment for placement, and no operator can pay to appear in our recommendations.
Revenue from affiliate commissions helps us keep the site running and continue producing free, research-based family travel content. Links that may earn us a commission are clearly identified throughout the site.
